Philip.

Some things in life are good.  Other things in life are great.  Edenbrooke is a great thing.
I was lucky enough to meet the lovely author!  You want proof?  Okay, I'll show you.
I find myself telling everyone about Edenbrooke, whether it fits into the conversation or not.  I'm glad I got to meet Julianne.

I love this book because of its love story, and I love that Philip shows up frequently.  I miss him when he's gone.  Another reason why I love this book, is because I'm in it.  Well, my name is. :-D I may be in horse form, but you can certainly find my name on page 69.  If you are familiar with the paper placemats at Chinese restaurants, then you know what I'm talking about when I say I'm a horse.  Fate?  I daresay yes!

Side note: On Julianne's Facebook fan page, she put a character's name, for her next book, up for discussion.  I know she is leaning toward the name Sylvia, but I like Violet.  Not only because it is my middle name...okay, that's the only reason.

Until next time, I leave you with a picture of me hiking a mountain.

  1. I loved meeting you Meg! And now that you mention it, I do like the name Violet. I'll let my character try it on for size, see how it takes. :)

  12. Well, fellow Meg -- you've more than convinced me! Adding Edenbrooke to my wishlist now. And how awesome is it meeting authors you love? I geek out like I'm talking to a rock star. (Although to me, they are rock stars... or even better than rock stars, I guess. Unless you're Hanson. Or John Mayer. Then I geek out because they are rock stars and... okay, I'm off to get myself under control!)
